First day of classes!

Today was our first day of classes! I spent the morning in the suite by myself since everyone except me had the GST class. I woke up, did some organizing, washed dishes, etc. I walked to buy milk - super exciting. After getting ready far too early, I played on my computer for a bit, packed a lunch (a Nutella sandwich was included..it was delicious), and then left. The tube was nice and uncrowded. One older lady sat across from me and she kept smiling. I thought she was really cute. Once I got off the tube, I effectively managed to get to the school building all by myself!! I think you should all be really proud of me!

I ate lunch and then went to my first class, which was London Theatre at 12:45. I liked my professor, Jinnie, and the whole structure of my class. We are going to see 9 plays this semester and we are each responsible for leading a discussion on one of the plays. Rebecca and I are going to discuss Twelfth Night which is Shakespeare! Since taking that Shakespeare winter term class, I am obsessed with that man. I can't wait for this play! The class in general seems like it will be great.

After Theatre, I had about an hour break until Sociology/Diversity (technically called Diversity in Action). I did crosswords with Sam, though we were not so successful. Sociology was a pretty ok class. I think it will be great once we start doing field trips. We did get to play Charades, which was cool. I'm excited to learn more about London culture and stuff through this class.

After class, we walked to the tube stop and there was a HUGE crowd in front. After waiting for like 10 minutes, Mich and I decided that we did not want to wait. Therefore, we went in search of a bus. Eventually (after walking on a few wrong streets), we found a bus that got us all the way home! We sat on top of the double decker, which was neat. It always looked like the bus was going to crash into the buses and cars in front of it. Finally, we made it back to the flats. Since that, I've eaten dinner and started homework. Exciting night!
