Back to Classes

Today officially ended another long weekend. I woke up this morning to head to the Globe Theater for theatre class. I was so excited to go! I thought the exhibit was a bit text heavy, but I learned some cool things. I was so proud that I knew so much of the info because of my Shakespeare class. After exploring a bit on our own, we had a guide take us around the theatre. There were lots of construction workers in the theatre space because they were making props and scenery for Romeo and Juliet, which opens in a couple weeks. We bought tickets for that today!! Our guide was pretty cool and he taught us some fun things. My favorite part of his tour was when he told us some of the dumbest questions they've ever been asked. A couple good ones were "Does Shakespeare ever come visit and see shows here?" and "What is Shakespeare's last name?" So funny! All in all, I'm glad I went. Even though this theatre is just a replica and isn't exactly in its original location, it was so, so neat.

After the tour, I ate lunch with Chelsey and Sam on a ledge by the Thames. It was another gray day, but the temperature was night. Afterwards, we had lots of time before Sociology. We headed back to the classroom and played crosswords and word games until class started. Class today was a bit useless, like always. We talked mostly about our final project in that class. We are researching different London boroughs and analyzing different aspects of diversity in them. Sam and I are researching Lambeth. I hope it's a good borough with lots of diversity!

I'm back at the flat now, getting ready to (hopefully) finish my Education paper. I want to be done with it so badly!! I hope you all have a fabulous night =)
