Hey everyone! I started my day today by sleeping in just a bit, which was so nice. I then woke up and tried to do some work, but I wasn't into it. So, I decided that I wanted to go to a museum. I opted for the Natural History Museum and Bo came along with me. We had a great, great time!
We started in a human bodies and biology exhibit. We learned about babies, learning & memory, and child development things, amongst other stuff. There were lots of optical illusions, which were also quite cool. After that, we went to a Creepy Crawly exhibit and learned about bugs, spiders, and crustaceans. So much fun! I don't remember the order after that, but we learned about eartquakes, ecology, birds, planets, rocks, minerals, and so much more. We ended our trip by seeing the Dinosaurs exhibit. It was SO COOL! I'm usually not a huge fan of dinosaurs, but the way this one was layed out and organized was really neat. Dinosaurs are fascinating, seriously! Oops, technically dinos weren't the end. We also ran quickly through the Mammals exhibit before the museum closed. We saw stuffed mammals and a huge replica of a blue whale. Oh my gosh, I know those darn things are huge, but I was amazed. We also saw the largest recorded elephant trunks. They were huge!
All in all, the museum was super fun and Bo and I really only did about a half or 3/4 of it. There's just so much! Two fun facts from the museum: 1) You can tell a millipede from a centipede because centipedes float and millipedes sink in water, and 2) If a T-Rex were to fall when running, the fall would probably kill it. How fun are those facts?
Tonight should be fun. We are continuing our High School Musical fest (which began two nights ago). We are watching HSM2, which is not the best movie, but it will be fun. I hope everyone is doing well back in the States!
