Yes, the sun did in fact come out today. This was a huge disappointment because, thinking it was going to rain, we cancelled our trip to Bristol. Very disappointing. We will have to reschedule that, but it kind of was sad that the weather people lied to us.
Anywho, I woke up this morning and finally finished the book I was reading. I did a bit of proofreading on some journals and whatnot and submitted those. I also did some laundry and made lunch. After that, I wanted to go somewhere to enjoy the sun. Kinsey, Sam, and I ended up heading to the Covent Garden area. There is a market there, as well as some cool shops. We spend a couple hours meandering, seeing street performers, and shopping. My favorite store was Lush, a place that makes all-natural, vegan cosmetics. We got to test some lotions and stuff. I still smell all nice from that store!
After spending some time in Covent Garden, we headed back to the flats. Kinsey and I tried our hand at making quesadillas on the stove - the result was not too bad! Now, we've all decided to have a working night. I'm not sure if we're up to anything else, but for now it's time for work. I hope you all are enjoying your Saturdays!
